Aman, I think that perhaps your title should be more about Lazy Young Adults than children. I think that calling someone in their 20’s a child is perpetuating the idea that adult humans are, in fact, still children.

I am also curious if you have children? I absolutely agree that children should be taught the value of hard work and that they have to forge their own path. But I also believe there is a way to do that while still being supportive parents. It does not have to be an either-or proposition. I’d love to hear your opinion on how to do this, beyond chastising parents and telling them what not to do.
