Yes, when something just completely flops, it is hard not to want to spend your time thinking about it. You actually could hold the thought and designate time for it later — tell yourself, I have 20 minutes to think about it at 6:40pm. I know that works for some people.

But whether you hold it for later or work through it now, the best thing is to accept that you are doing all that you can and figure out what you can do next.
